Verification of an Intelligent Ray Launching Algorithm in Indoor Environments in the Ka‐Band

This paper presents the verification of indoor propagation channel simulations based on an intelligent ray launching algorithm (IRLA) in Ka-band millimeter-wave (mmWave) spectrum various environments, including a classroom, office, and corridor, by radio measurements. Power delay profiles (PDPs), path loss, root-mean-square (RMS) spreads were obtained from both simulation results measurement results. Moreover, parameters two site-general loss models, close-in free space reference distance model floating-intercept model, estimated measured simulated loss. The comparison between indicates that IRLA-based can accurately describe main characteristics Ka-band.
